Why the pantry?
How many times have you purchased an ingredient specific to one recipe only to use it just that once and toss it out many months (years) later? Or saw that trendy grain at the store only to realize you don’t have the first clue on how to use it? Your pantry can easily get out of hand but what better time than the first of the year to whip your pantry into shape! This reset is all about unlocking the pantry knowledge to play more in the kitchen and reduce food waste in the process.
What’s a Pantry Reset?
It’s the time to clean-out, organize, and get ready for the new year. I am doing 21 days of videos with tips, tricks, and recipes to take your pantry from overwhelming to inspiring. Each week will feature helpful tips, like cooking the perfect pot of beans to making nut creams, my favorite tricks for using whole grains, and new vegetarian recipes for my favorite pantry ingredients. I’ll also have some exciting giveaways featuring some of my favorite pantry and pantry-related items.
How do I participate?
It’s easy! Dive into your pantry during the month of January. Clean it out, organize it, try something new- do as little or much as you like! The goal is to feel inspired to cook from your pantry a bit more in the new year. Take a picture and share it on instagram to encourage your friends to do a pantry reset! Share your reset or share a pantry-inspired dinner- I want to see it all. Just be sure to tag @naturallyella and #pantrypower.
Now that the pantry reset is in motion, you can Subscribe to my YouTube channel to see the videos as I post them or check back on this page. I’ll be updating the video list as I post new videos!
