The January Pantry Reset

Happy New Year! As some of you know, I'm starting the year out on a different path. No resolutions, no 'feel better' schemes, no diet plans. Just some good-old-fashion organization and inspiration. I'm spending the month of January helping you reset your pantry and be inspired to cook from all those grains, legumes, nuts, and seeds you might already have on hand. I'll be doing weekly recap emails you can sign-up for or you can follow along on YouTube or keep up on instagram. Don't worry though- I still have quite a few delicious recipes I'm sharing on the site.

So, if you're just looking to cook a few more plant-based meals or you're looking to overhaul your dinners, I have you covered. Hope you enjoy the series and happy cooking!

And to get started, a bit of inspiration for all those pantry items I'll be chatting about throughout the month!

I love to organize my pantry and my kids tease me for alphabetizing my spices.

I have been meaning to do that for ages! I know some people group spices by cuisine or most used, but I think good old-fashioned alphabetizing will work best for me.

I love the idea of a pantry reset! I have so many things I've collected throughout the year that just get lost in my pantry. Thanks so much for this reset - I totally need it!

This is such a wonderful way to start the new year! Everyone I know has stuff in their pantry that's half-opened or they don't even know when they bought it! What a great place to start organizing to get to a healthy new year 🙂

I've been baking a lot because I found myself hoarding all these dry baking goods...but one thing I've had that I only just opened to make "pretend" cornbread is Bob's Red Mill Golden corn flour Masa Harina. I knooowww it's supposed to be used for corn tortillas, and I just tried a mock cornbread recipe with it (which I'll be tasting in a few minutes!). But do you have any other tips on how to use the Masa Harina up? I'd appreciate it!

Looking forward to purging my pantry with you this month! Mine is pretty small and I organized it recently, but it's easy to see where I've already lost track of my organization XD

Here's the pantry organization I did a few months ago, which has actually held up pretty well!
