Galesburg:
Natural foods store with a great cheese and spice selection.
Delicious Cafe of Seminary St. that’s perfect for an enjoyable dinner with family and friends.
Great lunch spot! Walt makes his own breads, soups and much more!
Roast their own beans. Also a good spot for lunch or coffee dates!
Hands down my favorite store in Galesburg. It’s a great place get kitchen supplies, along with gifts for any occasion!
Also a great place to get gifts- great candles, cards, and lotions!
Local shoe store that has Vibram Five Fingers!
A local resturant that focuses on seasonal and local produce (right up my alley!) Another great lunch spot!
Monmouth:
My new favorite spot! They carry many different varieties of wine plus it’s a great atmosphere to sit, have a glass of wine, and relax.
Support the arts (sorry, shameless plug!) But they do have a small gift shop that has quite a few cute items!
(Monmouth list is still growing since I just moved here!)
Macomb:
Collection of wines and also mix and match beers. (I think it’s a growing theme I like wine…)
Okay, so this isn’t a “shopping” establishment but it’s a great place to go hiking, mountain biking, camping, or just cross country walking.
Another place to get great gifts, home decorations, and funky kitchen items you can’t find in big box stores!
A fine-dining restaurant that has a passion for jazz
