Chocolate.  I feel like when it comes to fresh, healthy eating, chocolate sometimes gets thrown by the wayside or even gets a bad name.  As if sweets in general will destroy everything healthy eating hopes to achieve.

I’m here to tell you, that is so not true.

While a lot of what I make on the blog is healthy, I also include a dose of sweets in for good measure.  Everything in moderation.

I hate that thanks to “dieting” we’ve become a culture that fears a treat now and then.  One of my favorite examples/studies I read from Michael Pollan’s In Defense of Food.  When Americans hear the word “Cake” more often than not the association is “guilt”.  The French association? Celebration!

So, I’m celebrating my love of chocolate this week!

I felt like taking a different approach and  instead of me spouting off what chocolate I enjoy, I asked a few of my fellow (and favorite) bloggers to let me in on their favorite Chocolate recipe(s) either on their own site or someone else’s.  I received a delicious range of chocolate (I actually had to whip up something chocolatey to get through creating this post!)  I really love this list because there is everything from healthy chocolate consumption to delicious, full-fat chocolate!
