I am having what one would call a stressful week.  So instead of dwelling on that, I thought I would continue on the path of things I am thankful for.

Today I am thankful for local farmers who are open to sharing their crop through a CSA.

For over a year and a half, I’ve shown pictures and ranted about how much I love my CSA.  As part of my creative push in November, I opted to do a video about the csa.

I am thankful that I have a place where I can go and connect with the food I eat.

I am thankful that I can say, “Yes I know where my food is grown, I picked it myself.”

I am thankful that I landed where I did for graduate school and found a growing local foods community.

I am thankful that even after the farmers’ market closes down for the season, I’m still eating local.

I am thankful.

Super cool video, Erin! It must be so satisfying to pull your own food out of the dirt. Thanks for sharing your CSA experience!

You know at first I kind of went girly mode and wasn’t sure I liked washing dirt and bugs off my food but that didn’t take long to wear off. Now it connects me to the food!
