During fall, I usually only get one day off because of marching band, concerts, and everything else that goes on for school. You can bet that I try and get the most out of those days.
I feel like there isn’t much I can say about this peach sauce other than I should call this my Sunday sauce. There is something about the taste of fresh peaches and a pinch of cinnamon that makes me relax (something that doesn’t always come easy to me.) Just thinking about this sauce makes me relax just a little…

- 4 peaches
- ½ green apple
- ½ cup water
- 2 tablespoon natural sugar
- 1 teaspoon each nutmeg and cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon corn starch
- 2 tablespoon water
- In a sauce pan combine peaches, apple, ½ cup of water, cinnamon, nutmeg, and bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer and continue to cook for 5-6 minutes until apple has softened. In a separate bowl combine 2 tablespoons of water and tablespoon of cornstarch to dissolve cornstarch. Add mixture and sugar to peaches and continue to heat until sauce has thickened.
