Uh, how boring, right?

I mean, why confine yourself to such limited resources for such a great canvas?  (and yes, I did just refer to a hamburger as a canvas…)

So go ahead, try something new!

Ingredients
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • ⅓ cup salsa verde
  • ½ green pepper
  • ½ onion
  • ½ tablespoon butter
  • 4 slice cheese
  • 4 buns

Instructions
  1. Light grill or skillet.
  2. With your hand (or spoon), combine the salsa verde and turkey in a medium bowl. Form four patties and place on a sheet of tin foil. In a separate piece of tin foil, combine onion, pepper, and butter. Fold over tin foil and create a package.
  3. Cook burgers and onion mixture on the lower shelf of the grill until the burgers reach 160?. Add cheese and continue to cook until cheese is melted and burger has reached 165?.
  4. Layer the burger with the onion mixture, salsa verde, and chipotle mayo.
